Through our education, independent living, outreach, and residential services, we continue to prepare them for responsible living in our communities, we guide them toward brighter futures, renewing their outlook on life and instilling in them a sense of direction. Lad Lake currently has a full-time position available for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
 
Job Summary
 
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for all financial matters of the agency and its affiliates. 
The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all fiscal and fiduciary responsibilities for the organization, in union with the board of directors and finance committee of the board.
The CFO will be a partner and advisor to the senior management team of Directors, evaluating and assisting them with their financial plans and economic modeling. 
 
Qualifications
As a prerequisite, the successful candidate must believe in the core values of Lad Lake and be driven by the mission. 
Education and/or Experience
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or finance; CPA required; MBA preferred.
  • At least ten years of professional, broad finance experience, ideally beginning in accounting, followed by experience gathering and evaluating financial information and making actionable recommendations to senior leadership. 
  • Ideal candidate will have experience managing the finance function (accounting, budgeting, control, and reporting) for a complex nonprofit with multiple funding sources including government (federal and state) contracts and an affiliate structure with diverse program areas.
  • Prior experience managing finances for a multi-affiliate corporation strongly preferred.
  • Passionate about the agency’s mission and able to promote and communicate philosophy, mission and values to external and internal stakeholders.
